Kerry voted Yes on S.1059 the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2000 (a big bill that included these sections):

Sec. 601. Fiscal year 2000 increase in military basic pay and reform of basic pay rates.
Sec. 602. Pay increases for fiscal years 2001 through 2006.
Sec. 603. Additional amount available for fiscal year 2000 increase in basic allowance for housing inside the United States.

1. Just another example
This is just another example of the Bush Spin doctrine, they'll argue that that particcular bill had so much pork barrel in it that it destroyed the economy and caused the recession that started in March of Bush's first year.

2. Yeah,
My brother was told that Kerry never voted for military pay increase. Wonder who was responsible for this bs?
