Just saw Michelle Obama in Tucson

I got my 7 year old son out of school at 1pm and headed down to the Fox Theater where we stood in front for two hours until they opened the doors. The place was full. I think capacity was around 1100. She was phenomenal. She said much of the same things she said yesterday at the UCLA rally.

When she finished speaking we ran up the isle and got to the ropes! She was greeting and shaking hands. When she got to my son she looked right down at him and said, "Hi there!" as she shook his hand and smiled. I had about 4000 things I wanted to say to her but all that came out was, "Thank you." She said thank you back as she looked right into my eyes and held my hand.

It was very cool. Something my son will hopefully carry with him forever.
