How to stop (fill in the blank candidate name) threads
Edited on Tue Dec-30-03 10:27 PM by khephra
I understand the nature of primaries, but I'll tell you all this one thing: I'll NEVER send anyone over here to DU while threads like this are going on. It's too embarassing.

Howabout more "How to stop Bush" threads?

Post what you like about postions, attacks, changes of opinion and whatnot, but I think this has gone way over the line here when this type of thread is become the soup of the day.

I never thought I'd live to see anti-Democratic threads on DU.

(And this goes for all the candidates, not just my own. )

1. No kidding. They're like "How to stop growth" threads.....
The very definition of "counter-productive." The people who start the websites like anybodybut(whoever).com are engaging in despicable activity, too.

makes me sick. The enemy is Bush, guys, doncha remember?

over their candidates, but "Stop (X Candidate) threads" are the worst.

:toast:

Sometimes I think some of us are making KKKarl's job waaaaaaay too easy and don't even realize it because we're so short-sighted.

The only 'enemy' is currently squatting at 1600.
DUers, Goddess love 'em all, have lost the forest for the trees.

:toast: Here's hoping DU will find some sanity and some unity real quicklike lest, as Benjamin
Franklin so wisely said, 'Either we'll hang together, or surely we'll hang separately.'

:hippie:
going back into my cave until the pissing contests subside.

4. Things will be changing soon
Once the first few primaries are over, the situation will start changing here massively...or so I hope.

Happy New Years, Sis!

5. Exactly. We are doing one hell of a job for the Republicans.
The candidates are fine. It is some of their supporters here who are assholes.

6. I have been trying to fight them, but it seems impossible...
The ones today were the worst yet.

I wish the policy on these would change from the top down--till then, I guess I will just have to keep alerting, complaining, and praying (as best an Atheist can pray) that this will all be over soon, and we can get on to real struggle;

The fight against Bush.

Thank you for the ray of hope.

7. Word
Until the nominee is chosen, I'm not sending anyone to DU. Those of us who have been here since before the infighting began...understand...I guess, & are willing to make allowances. But, someone who comes here looking for information or insight or just plain Dem solidarity/camaraderie would be horrified, IMO.

8. DU is no longer a place of unity like I found it
I hope it will regain that status, but now...nah! It's infighting central. For a newbie this is not a place to go, no mater moderate or liberal.
