Question for Obama Supporters |
|
If at the convention in Denver(which will likely be when the nomination will be decided) Obama wins the nomination If In order to secure the support of Hispanics do you think he would have to pick Hillary for VP.I have gone on record believing Obama/Hillary Is more likely than Hillary/Obama. Obama did better than earlyier states with Hispanic(and his victory In Colorado and possible Victory In New Mexico suggests In some states he Is making some inroads) but you can't deny he Is doing not great with Hispanics.

On edit: Also, I disagree with you about the possible tickets. I think Clinton/Obama is way more likely than Obama/Clinton.

and nor do I THINK he's going to pick her-I see Edwards as a perfect running mate. OTOH, Clinton (if she's the nominee) will NEED Obama to take the VP slot or get blown out in November-I don't see the opposite as the case though-does that make sense?

4. Richardson has more experience... |
|
and much less baggage. This is one reason that Bill Clinton has been working to get Richardson's endorsement for Hillary.

If he gets the nom, and McCain gets the nom, he needs a Westerner anyways.

I am not for Hillary as his VP If he previls In Denver. But we can't deny he needs to make more inroads to Hispanics.I don't think It IS neccessary a racial thing but loyality to Bill Clinton. And with John Mccain as our opporent It will be a fight among Hispanics.
I would love to see ObamaEdwards ticket but the Idea of a ObamaRichardson Ticket could happen to help bring Hispanics In the general Election with Mccain.
For Hillary her real VP would be Bill. The actual VP would really be In Name only.I will bet It will be Bayh.I would be shocked If She were to offer It to Obama and almost as shocked If he would accept.

8. I think he should offer it to her, in order to "heal the wounds", but I don't think |
|
she will accept. Then we move onto who his next choice would be.
