I'd say about 20% of the people here actually have made a concerted effort to learn about the candidates they don't support, let alone the candidates they do support. I would think people dedicated enough to go to a political forum would set a higher bar for themselves, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
My first impression of this forum was poor, but I decided to stay for awhile. I think I adjusted and it actually got better, but now it's a hell-hole again. I did learn a bit, unfortunately, more about the ills of human nature rather than politics and the candidates... but ah well. It was entertaining at least. May check in a bit more, but time to move on to a political forum that actually makes me a more informed and dutiful voter.
