1. Common sense...
Its what many of us have been telling Clinton supporters all along. Her favorable ratings are too low. She starts the election process already disliked by many and can only go lower. Regardless of who you support, from a party point of view, she is a poor choice of nominee to WIN the election.

I'm scared that if she is the nominee (I will support the nominee), we will have Prez McCain.

2. My greater fear...
4yrs of failed policies by clinton, because she's so marginalized and wrapped in scandal and hatred. Only to turn around and lose the few grounds we've gained, and have a puke like Romney for the next 8 years.

9. I echo your feelings...
Obama has the best opportunity to reach across party lines and appeal to indies. No grey area there.

3. It's about Independents.
They decide elections.

If the other side nominates someone who appeals to Independents, your side must do so too.

Thus far, exit polls have shown that Obama and McCain appeal to independents...Hillary, not so much.

That is being reflected in this poll.

4. Those spreads are not large
We have seen swings greater than that in a single week of primary campaigning.

What happened to Rudy's approval ratings over the last few months by the way?

5. They're consistent. And they bare out what most of us already knew-that Obama attracts
more people of other parties than Hillary.

6. This is the reason we must tell our friends in states still voting
That HRC means doom. I mean real doom. Don't use hyperbole, just calm, cold logic. Have them look at their 14 year old grandkid, and ask tehm if they want this kid to grow up in another war economy, where he or she becmes a literal war or economic casualty.
