Think the media will "trounce" Clark?
Think again. Check out how Clark handles a FAUX "News" distortion tactic during an interview:

1. He was great in that interview
but the whole media will still be against him. They are bought and paid for corporate whores.

4. Who do your friends, family and neighbors trust more?
You, or Fred Barnes?

You, or Judy Woodruff?

You, or Bill Kristol?

Arm yourself with facts and flyers and go knock on some doors.

5. Several ways
knocking on doors, letters to the editor, phone calls to Sam Donaldson and NPR and other, more objective media people. By donating to moveon. We have a lot more resources this year than we did in 2000. We have to make use of them. We have to WORK.

6. Clark's biggest weakness...
Edited on Wed Dec-31-03 01:25 PM by Patriot_Spear
The tape Karl Rove has of him praising Bush* and his cronies; the one the RNC will play 24/7 next year.

Not something I would relish. Oh, and his admission that he voted for Reagan. Twice. :wtf:

7. News Flash!!!
A lot of Americans voted for Reagan. In fact the majority did!

If this is going to be a litmus test though we're all in trouble.
Has Dean ever appointed any republican judges? Has Kerry ever backed a republic bill?
Sharpton may be the only unblemished pure democrat but they also call that a partisan

12. Sharpton backed a GOP mayor and a GOP Senator (dAmato)
For Bloomberg, he pulled a dean: Ferrer endorsed, but told supporters to stay home.

10. It's the Fox News interview AKA the smackdown video
You never saw that one? The Fox interviewer tried to smear Clark as being unpatriotic cause he was saying strong things against Bush and the Iraq War. Clark pounced on him.

9. CNN can't trash him.
He was their "expert" commentator, who so nicely told us how well the war was going.Told us how dangerous Saddam's forces were, and where they would put up a massive fight, and where there WMD's were hidden.

13. Funny how a draft movement was created from what you describe
And the wingnuts at the Spactator disagree with you too:
Since the outbreak of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Clark has been on CNN, bemoaning the Pentagon and Gen. Tommy Franks's
> strategy in the opening days of taking down Saddam. And while several other senior retired military men have made
> critical comments about the ongoing fighting -- Ret. Gen. Barry McCaffrey, another former Clinton-era official, has
> been quick to criticize during his stints on MSNBC -- Clark has by far been the most vocal.
> "It just looks really bad that he's knocking the troops and the way we're executing this war," says the DNC staffer.
> "He's taking hits everywhere, on TV, in the newspapers, on talk radio. People are furious at him. We can't fundraise
> off performances like this. The only presidential candidate that would probably want to be seen with him is Howard
> Dean."
> Prior to Clark's "tanking" on CNN, the DNC had Clark pegged for political stardom. He'd visited New Hampshire, and
> had hinted that he was interested in perhaps running for president as a Democrat. Now, the DNC isn't sure what they
> can do with the man who directed Bill Clinton's military machinations in Kosovo.
