Bush's Problem With Black Voters
Edited on Tue Mar-09-04 10:39 AM by dArKeR
When John Kerry visited Atlanta's most famous black church last month, parishioners at Ebenezer Baptist had to be nudged back to their pews after hundreds rushed to meet the Democratic front-runner.

When President Bush solemnly placed a wreath at the Atlanta grave of Martin Luther King Jr. a few weeks earlier, a low chorus of boos rumbled from protesters across the street.

Black voters, the most loyal of Democrats, were quick to close ranks around Kerry during the party's primaries, underscoring Mr. Bush's challenge in trying to improve his showing among black voters this fall. Mr. Bush would have to go back to Barry Goldwater in 1964 to find a Republican presidential candidate who did worse than the 9 percent he claimed in 2000.

How will America ever accept non-white people if the Media Whores continue to mark and target them with lables which clearly identify them as 'different'? Many many years ago a friend explained to my how Hitler's Nazi Germany was the first regime to use psychological propaganda so deviously. Since the Jews looked the same as the geneneral population, the doctors of thought, figured out to mark the Jews with a star which was sewn to their clothing to target/mark them.

Is this my own prejudice? Why does it seem to me everytime a reference is made to 'Black Voters' in an article, the included picture is one of a group of people in a church?

2. the problem is Bush, not black voters
the unemployment rate is much higher among blacks and latinos than overall. and the piece of shit doesn't care. every fucking election year the right wing assholes try to target a certain minority group. but their policies and most of what they stand for hurt these groups.

3. Bush-o-nomics = 50% unemployment
What is happening in some sectors of the black community is catastrophic. The Community Service Society studied employment conditions among black men in New York City. Using the employment-population ratio, which is the proportion of the working-age population with a job, it found — incredibly — that nearly one of every two black men between the ages of 16 and 64 was not working last year.

5. You can always count on the whores
Falling to their knees, predictable as rain.

It's absolutely sickening the way nearly every story involving race seems to be slanted to best provoke a divisive response from the reader.
