Any Word On Voter Turnout Today?
I don't expect it to be big, but wouldn't that be sa-WEET.

My primary's in May, and even if I weren't voting for DK (because I have the chance to), I'd show up & vote for Kerry for the sheer intimidation factor.

1. Pretty low key here
Louisiana holds most of it's elections on Saturdays, so it's not normal for people to go vote on a Tuesday. There are very few local racese on the ballot so expect turnout in LA to be soft.

2. No word here
but from what I heard canvassing there were quite a lot of Democrats voting early. Hopefully there won't be a line when I get there!

3. It could be high is some parts of Texas
There are congressional primaries going on there today as well. There are competitive primaries in at least three predominately Democratic districts.

4. In Austin
I was supporting a judicial candidate in a precinct that does have a competitive congressional race and turnout seemed pretty brisk from 7 to 9 this morning. Then when I went to vote at my own precinct (where there is no such race) I was only the 9th voter.
