Would Clinton go into a protracted legal fight against the DNC for MI and FL
delegates? How would you feel about that? And if she should win, how would you feel? How would this country feel?

1. She'll try to do anything to win...
I don't trust the Clintons anymore than I'd trust a Bu$h.

:puke:

19. You people act like she's all powerful when she's losing this election pitifully.
She's done and yet you people, having no respect or decency to yourselves at all, continue parroting this right wing dogma that "The Clintons" are these all-powerful politicians or something.

Too ridiculous for words.

She'd never sue, and she wouldn't even propose suing, for the simple fact the DNC, and Dean wouldn't let her make that move.

2. I hope so - couple of million votes equals just about all Obama's caucuses

3. So win at all costs, screw how petty it'd make her look, especially
if she wouldn't win otherwise?

15. Yes, Obama not wanting them seated would look bad, which is why it can't come to that.
This is why Dean will broker things out before it comes to it. He'd might even propose a caucus in both states at the end of it.

31. Wow, P2BA, that's the first time I have seen all your hearts!
Who loves you, baby? I do, too. Keep up the good fight.

Addressing the OP: I don't believe she will sue but do believe she is going to get a bit more forceful about this if those state delegates are the difference between her being ahead or not.

Ironically, Obama says the superdelegates should vote what the people (who voted) want but today Axelrod is saying that Kennedy and Kerry (from Mass, which HRC won) should vote for whoever they think is strongest (instead of who "the people" voted for).

10. I think the only reason she would brig a possible suit
If she felt she was getting screwed out of delegates that should go to her.

14. The superdelegates would be the ones making that decision, not Hillary, not the judicial systems.
Here's hoping they do the fair thing.

11. Don't be assinine. She'll request to have them seated. Obama, if they matter, won't. Supers would...
...then make the decision to do so.

She wouldn't take it to court because we've already got precedent for this and she'd lose, resoundingly. She'd be out of political office forever.

Anyway if she sued and won and got the nomination she couldn't win in the GE.

17. You do know what Senator Nelson said?
This will disenfranchise the people in florida from voting in the GE. I don't have a link but someone posted it the other day.

21. They could still be seated by Hillary, the superdelegates, or (unlikely) Obama.
It's not like there aren't a million ways to fix this issue. A lawsuit? Jesus Christ. The venom and irrationality here is unbelievable.

18. How would you feel if she filed a suit to get the delegates from MI and FL?
You're defending her and I understand that, but how would you feel if she did that, after the agreement not to consider them was okayed by all the candidates? Honest question, and I'm not dissing Clinton, I'm just curious.

20. I would be repulsed at such an idiotic move. She'd lose all political capital.
She'd lose her reelection, she'd just be done completely. She wouldn't even have the small chance at a vice presidency. In fact, when Dean sits them down it'd most likely be compromised into a joint run anyway.

a Clinton supporter might receive a move like this should it ever happen.

24. Honestly, I think we should have another primary
Reason is because I feel my vote didn't count. I didn't make the agreement between DNC and FDP so I didn't have a say in that. That said, Hillary wont file a suit against the DNC but she will exhaust every other avenue possible and I don't blame her.

29. You aren't allowed by party rules. You CAN caucus though
Same deal in Michigan.

I hope they both agree to it. I don't like the voters not being heard either but I do NOT agree with just seating delegates when the voters voted based on the information at the time.

Because they are the ones squaking about "disenfranchised voters" not us.

Maybe commission a focus group so that she'll listen.

But she'll make sure that all her options are exhausted regarding a do-over in Florida and Michigan.

23. Thank you. Wow, the first ardent Obama supporter to say this.
It's just crazy, she'd be done if she did that. The party would reject her. She'd be done I tell you. She's not that crazy. People here make her out to be insane or something.

Edit: I think the campaigns might privately communicate with the DNC, but I don't think the candidates should make a campaign issue of it or start a fight over it.

26. The courts would dismiss this faster than you can say "Day 1"
Political party rules are private matters to be handled by the party - this is the general precedent in the legal world (according to what I've read recently).
