How much did Kerry promise to cut middle income taxes?
I keep seeing these TV spots saying JFK will cut taxes on the middle incomers. How much per year will it give back to thye middle? Aside from the fact we can't afford any more tax cuts how much is he promising to give back?

1. I agree we can't afford anymore net tax cuts
Kerry wants to balance his middle class cuts with increases for those earning over $200,000. At least that is how I understand it.

2. makes child credit, 2 wage family credit, and 10% bracket continue
beyond the current ending date of a couple of years

but the GOP is trying to get ahead of him and is including those changes - and only those tax changes, for this year.

Since the Dems support Kerry - and these cuts - how can they say no - and once they are passed, it is a victory for Bush because it shows how he fights for the middle class and poor!

:-)

4. Hey, if the Republicans abandon the cuts for the rich we win
If they are going to drop the elimination of the 'I am a stinking rich lazy heir tax' and the other tax cuts for the rich and only make the middle class cuts permanent I think we can claim victory. Especially since many of those middle class cuts were Democratic initiatives. And I think the Kerry campaign is very eager to drive that home.
