The latest ARG poll, out 3/11, had * at 43% to Kerry's 50%. Interestingly, he's at 42% with Nader in the mix. I'm not a big fan of job approval because it doesn't mean people are going to vote for you. You should check out the latest right track/wrong track numbers. They are very bad and never seen on the news.

3. You are right. Job approval does not mean votes, but...

The only important thing is the trend, the Big MO. And for Bush, the trend is consistently down every month since he peaked on 9/11, except for the Iraw fiasco, and the Saddam capture.

It's very good news.

Looking at the polls in this way points out that he has always been vulnerable, except when he is doing a military effort somewhere.

And I think a lot of people support the troops, & don't want to be negative while they are off fighting somewhere. Bush thinks support for the troops, means support for him.
