I just made another contribution to help elect the next President
of THE UNITED STATES (all 50 of them) of AMERICA, Barack Obama!

He is well on his way to winning the hearts and minds of Americans, everywhere.

Just thought it important to do this on Valentine's Day, ha.

9. On top of not paying the landlord when the rent was due...
...they allegedly left the place in a mess.

Not nice, IMO.

3. I sent my second contribution in yesterday. Good for you!
As another "Mojo" (Nixon) would quip, "Obama has a whole lotta ELVIS in him!" ;)

Go Obama! :patriot:

4. If your contribution was $$$, you are only enabling more of
the same old same old. Stop feeding the coffers of the politicians. "Change" will only come about when WE take care of the people who truly are helpless.

10. Oh, okay, we'll just stop having elections
and contributing to campaigns. You are aware that this is a site for people who are engaged in and by politics, right?

On that note, I sent in $$$ to Sen. Obama's campaign a couple of days ago and am pleased to have done so! My mother says she sent in some, too, but so far I am 2x ahead of her (not for long, probably).

7. I wish I had the money to do it myself
has anyone else noticed that almost every thread in GDP right now is anti-Obama?
I think have about 20 of those threads hidden, and still more to hide. :/

11. No problem, Faye. If you can take an hour or so in the future, perhaps you could volunteer locally?
IMO, it's the people who actually pound the pavement once and awhile via their volunteer efforts who TRULY make the difference. :-) :hi:
