Let's have a god-damned convention for once, instead of a coronation. Presumptiveness on both dem sides is ridiculous.

For those saying that their candidate is following the rules, the convention is in the freaking rules. Let's have a real one.

The DNC has been very clear about this. Only Hill is feeling fuzzy about the rules.

This will be over sooner rather than later. Come March 5th, the math will prevail and it will all be over by the 10th or the 12th, by the time everyone has decided we do indeed have a nominee.

Hill has already verbally left herself this out. She herself said OH, TX, an PA are do or die. And if she eeks out narrow victories the math will still kick in.

She can soldier on and wreck the party all over again if she wants to I suppose, but I don't think it will get her far enough this time.

There's millions and millions of dollars-- and the enthusiasm of hundreds of thousands of people-- being used right now for the two most powerful Democrats in the country to batter the shit out of each other.

Meanwhile, John McCain is gathering the GOP around him, being given a chance to horde his money, and can safely start to ready his general election campaign without even worrying about being hit by the Democrats.

A bloodied Democratic nominee, staggering into September with a possibly divided party behind them, facing what in reality is probably the strongest GOP nominee they could have picked?

It's suicide. This needs to be settled in March.
