Do not speak to me of fairy tales, and idealism. The neoconservative movement was always a fairy tale.
Senator Clinton went with the political winds, as is her modus operandi. Or she bought this fairy tale. Either way, she showed a critical lack in judgment.
I knew it was a crock of shit. I screamed about it. Millions of us screamed about it. We knew. We understood. We saw the writing on the wall.
And now tens of thousands of people who were once part of this world are dead. DEAD. Many more are disfigured or worse.
You tell me how to parse that as wisdom. You tell me how to parse that as judgment, or experience.
Tell me what NAFTA was? I can tell you first hand. It was a fairytale. It turned into me losing my job last July and getting the opportunity to train my own replacement, who was flown in from India. I got to be his chauffeur as well. Really nice kid. We both hated what was happening, but ultimately, he remained employed and I did not.
I am still unemployed (7 months now) after having worked my way over 9 years to an almost comfortable living. I keep almost getting hired. Apparently people no longer like it when you show loyalty to a company.
You tell me what President Clinton's story was to the country after being confronted about Monica Lewinsky. What did Hillary believe? Was it a fairy tale?
I am a white male in Texas without a college degree, and I am voting for Obama, without hesitation.
You tell me I believe in fairytales.
I say you should look in the god-damned mirror.
