All of this coverage of the hunt for Bin Laden makes me suspicious, since he should be "captured" in September or October. I htink he'll be captured a lot sooner than that now.

1. If he was truly already captured or "cornered"
it would be very difficult to keep a secret like this for so long. I doubt if all the military folks there are great friends of shrub these days. So, yes, if they've already done this they will probably have to play their hand before too long.

2. If they knew where he was
they would capture or kill him

It seems that whenever the bush poll numbers go down, the mainstream press seems to pick up the story that we are close to getting bin laden

Doesn't it seem strange that we would anounce this? If they can get bin laden then get him, otherwise the press should shutup!

3. I think, because Bush is doing so poorly in the polls right now, he
may just have to bring him out sooner than later. He is frightened that he'll plummet so low that an October discovery won't help him as much.

4. Now that things are going so
well in Iraq <sarcasm> it's time to put some focus back on Osama. There is so much more press about hunting him down that I think BushCo must be desperate to catch him before the election.

Bush needs to get Osama so he will have something more to politicize. It's really sad that that is how it will be played. Damn, I want Osama caught but but Bush will make it all about him rather than about the victims.

I keep hoping that Bush won't be able to fool enough people into voting for him to get elected. I am reminded of that bumper sticker:
"Bush/Cheney - Thanks for not paying attention."

5. Already have him.
Can't prove it. Can easily visualize it.

6. I don't know
IT's an interesting speculation but would be disasterous for BushCo if it got out. A lot of people would have to know about it, so the chance of it being leaked would be pretty high.

7. As Chris Matthews said, he's 6'5", on dialysis, riding a mule.
How hard can he be to find. I think they may have him already as well. :hi:

8. Yeah, but...
Most Americans still think the bombing of Pearl Harbor was a 'complete suprise'. It wasn't.

-------------------------------

Perhaps he's dead. But if Delta force or some other Special Forces type of group already captured him, extracted him to say...the Isle of Wight under 24hr surveillance with food & water...how many people would REALLY have to know about it?

I'd say about 4, ten at most.

The amount of CIA operatives that ever candidly talk about their activities while working for the company is very, very small. There aren't many ex-CIA operatives who talk either.

They could have him. Easily.

Why on Earth would the Pentagon announce a 'Spring Offensive' to 'Capture Bin Laden' broadcast months in advance?

Psy-ops, baby, Psy-ops.

9. He is already dead and kept frozen
on the Crawford ranch with the crew and passengers of the planes that supposedly hit the towers. Military planes were used to target the WTC and the proof is the missles that were shot right b4 impact.

10. Personally, I think he's dead...
I think this whole hunt for Binladen thing is an attempt to temporarily increase Bush's poll numbers. But if they suddenly were to find him, I wouldn't be surprised.
