6. I would think they like Bush
His policies in the Middle East must be great for recruitment.

By the way, welcome to DU. :hi:

10. But their goal is to stop what Bush causes the recruitment
not to cause more of it. I think they woudl prefer to have Kerry in office.

2. I think it would have to be earlier
GWB will need a couple of weeks to put the country under martial law, and will need to have the media feeding frenzy going on for a couple of weeks to secure his "re-election."

It might backfire, however; some people think that if there is another attack on the chimp's watch that it will secure his defeat. So he's between a rock (Rove) and a hard place (Cheney) regardless of whether he decides to scare the crap out of everyone or not.

5. I think the Bush regime does enough of their own fear-mongering
I find it sad to see the same thing happening on this website. :-(

7. I'm guilty of fear-mongering?

What was my motive for this sin?

8. I voted no but if
they do attack us in the US, will that scare people into voting for the so-called 'war president', or will they be so outraged that we are no safer than 3 years ago, that Kerry wins in a landslide?
