Washington DC –
On Tuesday, John Kerry will visit West Virginia to meet with veterans and kick off the start of the general election campaign against George W. Bush.
Joined by one of his crewmates from Vietnam, Kerry will discuss with veterans the need to bring change to America’s foreign policy and strengthen our commitment to our nation’s men and women in the armed services. That night Kerry will host an election night party with West Virginia voters as the results of the Illinois primary come in – the state with the needed delegates to secure the nomination.
On Monday, supporters will show their enthusiasm for sending Kerry on the road to the White House and Bush back to Texas, by painting posters, phone banking, and distributing tickets for Tuesday night’s rally. For information and to pick up free tickets for the election night rally, the public should call (304)342-8121
