Rasmussen daily graph for 2/17/08 - Clinton up 1 (44), Obama unchanged (47)
The rate of tightening is slowing. Which sounds profound, doesn't it?

On the Republican side, Huckabee's surge seems to have evaporated, and McCain is surging instead. For GOPers, we should put everything in terms of "surge" to show how silly they sound when they use that word.

These graphs are all contained on one Web page at http://www.dvorkin.com/rastrack.html

Gallup now has a daily tracking poll graph: http://www.gallup.com/poll/104107/Gallup-Daily-Tracking-Election-2008.aspx

(Pretend that the 10 and 20 lines are actually 0. Does anyone know how to make Excel label different parts of the axis differently?)

7. Consistent with Rasmussen
So they're both wrong and meaningless and distorted by outliers.

11. I've been saying from when I started posting these graphs
months ago that even if the numbers aren't accurate, I'm assuming the trends are. And they do seem to be.
