What's nice about the "ignore" option on GD2004?
We're all so hyped up and nervous about this election, that even well intentioned, but negative posts can send us into emotional tail spins. Whenever you think somebody is just on a bummer binge, or may even be a freeper, consider clicking the IGNORE button. I tried it tonight and, poof!, the problem disappeared! At first I wondered what they were saying, but pretty soon I forgot all about them, as there's so many other things to read, assimilate, and respond to on the board. I highly recommend this option to my other stressed out DU compatriots.

2. That's why I avoided doing it. But I really didn't need to read some
of the negative, freeperesque stuff tonight. And they can always be removed from ignore status.

Anyway, it helps me tonight, and for that I'm grateful. I just want to communicate with my DU pals. :grouphug:

4. Well, who to ignore (or not) is certainly a personal decision.
I haven't mentioned "who" I put on ignore.

11. Yes, and that thread reminds me of another reason why the "ignore"
button is so great: it can protect one's health. Avoiding sources which raise one's blood pressure, or enable stress related diseases is a good thing.
