Clark supporters: something strange happened in Chicago this morning!!!
Edited on Tue Mar-16-04 07:40 AM by wndycty
I woke up this morning so that I could vote in the Illinois primary and the 10 Clark yard signs I had been hoarding in my home office were missing, now this is the crazy thing: As I walked to the polls at 6:00 AM there were 10 Clark yard signs planted between my apartment and the polling place. . .strange, very strange (grin).

2. He got at least one. . .
. . .I had to vote for him. Kerry is going to win running away, but I worked too hard to get him on the ballot not to vote for him. As you know I am more than eager to support the ticket, but I needed closure on the Clark campaign and my vote was it.

4. He's got six out here from my family
My son said it was unique to think he had met all but one person he voted for. Clark definitely got us involved like never before. We're both even on our precinct ballots. Must be that Higher Standard of Leadership.

6. My Dem signs were stolen regularly in Bloomington, IL...
during the 20 years I lived there.
And I lived 2 houses down from Adlai Stevenson's sister.

11. those danged signs...
they just have a mind of their own! :bounce:

Congratulations to all on voting for Clark! Yes, it does provide some sense of closure after all these months of hard work. It somehow eases the transition to the campaign for the general election.

12. Good for all of you!
Whoohoo for the Illinois Clarkies!! :toast:

I got to caucus for the General last Saturday and it felt real good.

Now I'm ready to fight for Kerry.
And keep my fingers crossed that I'll get to vote for Kerry/Clark in November. 2004 AND 2008.

:dem:

P.S. I'm baaa-ack. Thanks to Eric for straightening it all out.

13. I know the feeling: voting FOR rather than AGAINST...rare occasion
I got my little girl with ne in the booth and explained to her the difference - and how rarely in life it happens...
