Poll question: What Would You Say Is Kerry's Biggest Strength?
I am a HUGE John Kerry fan, and to me, the guy has a hell of a lot of strengths to offer in a general election campaign.

What would you say is the biggest, most important, quality that Kerry will be bringing to the table in November?

(a) Military experience
(b) Legislative experience
(c) A razor-sharp intellect
(d) "Gravitas"
(e) His 6'4" height
(f) His articulate communication skills
(g) His booming (some would say manly) voice
(h) The fact that he's not Bush
(i) Other

1. I voted for voice
You may think it odd, but I think the voice and the eyes are the organs that communicate what we are, windows on the soul if you will.

Lieberman has a shaky voice that suggests he cannot be trusted.

Gore is wonderful, but his intonation and voice are often not in sync with what he is saying. The same is true for *, although * is obviously being tutored on using his voice and has improved greatly.

Clinton had a great voice and used it well. At his worst and under the utmost pressure, he sounded sincere. Sometimes his voice got a bit high-pitched, but no one seemed to mind.

I could go on and on. If you want to go into politics, study singing and acting.

12. Kerry's got the voice of a statesman.
G DUHbya on the other hand sounds like a coworker who would try to bullshit his way out of doing more work or kiss the boss's ass in order to get a day off.

7. Was torn between intellect and not-Bushness
And opted for "Other":

He's shown excellent judgement in whom he has out speaking for him. Let's hope it holds for his VP nod.

13. Because he fights back and kicks a**
We have been waiting for so long for a Dem with cojones. It makes me feel good that he has a rapid response squad and does not capitulate to the enemy!

15. I went with "Other". It's a combination of
his military-intelligence-foriegn policy expertise, which the nation sorely needs, and his ability to fight back.
