My Republican, childhood friends comments about Hillary and Obama

I know you'll be shocked by this, but I'm really not going to be that upset if Obama wins.

I'm not voting for him and I'm a big McCain supporter and think he's got an uphill battle, but there is a punchers chance he could win. However, there is some residual benefit to Obama winning as I see it.

1) Hillary doesn't win
2) It weakens Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and limits the race issue substantially
3) It's good for Chicago and Illinois
4) It will be cool to have Abraham Lincoln and the 1st black President of the US from the same state.

It's the first time in my life the Democrats have run a person I won't want to vomit if he wins.
