...that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, is just a freight train comin your way...
McCain: I will make sure Americans are not deceived by an eloquent but empty call for change.

The crowd goes wild.

I'm still thinking Hillary has a shot, but if TX and OH fall through, and Obama is the nom, I am really, really apprehensive about our chances with an Obama ticket.

He's slamming him now for wanting to meet with terrorists.

wtf do we think it will be like in September?

10. Bush's approval rating is in the toilet. He's poison.
And in the GE, we will make every effort to remind Americans that McCain is no 'maverick'...he's had his head up Bush's ass from day one.
Keep in mind the media paints McCain as a 'maverick' senator.

5. What do I think about Sept.?
I think we have to tie the Illegal War in Iraq around McBush's neck.

He takes credit for the ground situation, now. He owns it now, he owns it in September.

14. this diary rocked - I am out of OPs, so feel free to pass it around:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/19/19111/7377/755/459940

Quit yer flinching, Chicken Little!

So what if they find Michelle Obama's remarks scandalous? Peace, love and understanding make these Orcs vomit. Do you understand?

So what if they think they can exploit Barack Obama's so-called "plagiarism?" In the span of two years, their party has enthusiastically fallen in line behind child molesters, puppet regimes, war criminals, tortures and torture-enablers, traitors, domestic eavesdroppers, and all other manner of scofflaw.

You don't bite your fingernails to the cuticles worrying about whether their indignation has legs. You tell them to shove their red herrings and spittle-flecked accusations right up their ass.

I can't believe how much weenified pantywaist nonsense I've read on this site today. These braying nincompoops took you by surprise somehow? They bray, that's what nincompoops do. Their brayings hold in them as much meaning as the odd toenail clipping session. Their words and thoughts are dead cells, sloughing off the body as dead cells do, and they don't need to be ruminated upon, unless you have nothing better to do than chew toenails.

Now. Repeat after me:

- My team is winning. We're really winning.

- My team will continue to play smashmouth offense -- and when necessary, smart defense.

- That shiny thing on Free Republic is really just another fresh-made turd.

- My time is not worth wasting on turds, fresh-made or otherwise.

- So. What.

There. Feel better? I do.

7. That tactic has worked well for Clinton
I don't think it will be easy for either of our potential nominees, despite the fact that McCain is a walking tablet of Ambien. The republicans will pull every trick in the book against either of them.

But I do think that Obama has a better chance. Obama has demonstrated an unusual ability to bring new people into the process and that's what we need to get a large enough majority. The Clinton campaign's 50% + 1 strategy is less likely to cut it.

You're mistaken if you think Obama won't beat the crap out of McCain.
Imagine Obama's speeches being compared to McCain's. Imagine Obama's policy of leaving Iraq compared to McCain's plan for another 100 years of war.

Mrs. Obama just got a taste and then Cindy McCain got a chance to introduce herself as the pro American anti-Michelle Obama. Soon we will be playing under "Obama rules".

21. Thing is, I don't think I am.
FL is gone, if we don't let them have a voice now. And I understand that.

You may think Obama carry some southern states, because he won primaries there, or caucuses, but the south is repuke. If we didn't go for Kerry in 04 when it meant a one term little hitler president, it won't happen now.

If Obama is the nominee, I'm sorry, it will be a boodbath.

IMHO.
