World Leaders List - Kerry vs. Bush
Hi there, folks! Here is my take on which world leaders support Kerry and which support Bush in the 2004 U.S. election.

Here is how it works.

K = leader supports Kerry
B = leader supports Bush
N = the leader is neutral
U = undecided (Meaning I can't decide which side they are on.)

Remember, this is a list of leaders' sentiments, not the opinions of the the populations of the nations listed.

2. That's a given. The list is World Leaders, not their people, however.
And poor old Tony Blair has thrown his lot in with the wrong guy, I'm afraid--thanks to some serious arm-twisting by Cheney, from what I understand.

3. I'm not so sure a lot of the B's are really for Bush.
Like the post above says Britain doesn't support Bush. Sending troops to Iraq might mean simply the country supports America. In some other cases there is a deal or bribe of some form involving the Bush Administration. I don't think that means the country in question wants to see another Bush term.

7. Which Bs to change?
I'm willing to entertain some changes. Which leaders would you think shouldn't be Bs? and would they be for Kerry or just neutral?

9. It was in the news recently and it got me thinking.
You are right. It is more of a political exercise than the really meaningful categorization. But what do you think about China? Who do you think their leader wants to win?

15. India--Bush for now, but the way he is coddling and cooing at
Edited on Sat Mar-20-04 06:20 PM by blondeatlast
Pakistan, despite their nukes, that could change but fast.

Time being, it's based on the economic boost from outsourcing, but the Pakistan thing could turn them but fast.

Hubby is an Indian emigre who is very keen on news and politics from home.

Edit: More indications India won't support Bush--my BIL was a dyed in the wool Bush fan last time around, but no longer. You can guess what's brought him to the light.
