Kerry should pounce on the Bush re Polish leaders comments
I am sure you've all seen this by now:
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&cid=1514&u=/afp/20040318/wl_mideast_afp/iraq_poland_weapons_040318165536&printer=1

I think this is right in line with Kerry's mantra of a misled Senate and a President that failed to exhaust all non-military options before the war. As a Polish-American, I am proud of the way he has highlighted some of the objective facts about this war, without gushing over Neoconservative policies.

1. The anonymous leaders that have encouraged Kerry
are starting to surface of their own accord. First the new PM in Spain, now the President of Poland. I'm starting to think several more will come out in the next few days.

2. One itty-bitty-teeny-tiny problem.
Poland thinks that the country will soon be stabilized, so they can withdraw their troops early...
After this weekend, does the area look stabilized? Iraqi police are being targetted because the police are tools of the Americans. As long as the U. S. is there as the controlling power, anyone who is there is a target, because they are seen as part of the American cabal.

Kerry doesn't want to open this can of worms, because he wants the U. S. to STAY IN CHARGE OF THE OCCUPATION, just internationalize the troops.

Bad issue for Kerry. He's on the side of the imperialist occupiers.

5. You're missing the point
Now that asshole Bush has started a war, it would be catastrophic for us to just up and pull out all our troops. THAT is the reason the rest of the world hates us - we keep "liberating countries" and leaving them way too early, which only serves to destroy whatever good things that country had left. The old regime, or worse, will just take over again if we up and leave now. No, now that we're in, it's our responsbility to raise Iraq as if it were our baby. We have to make sure that country is 100% stable before we leave there. We fucked them up, we have to fix it, and we need the help of the few allies we have left.

8. Only WE can civilize the world
and privatize it too.

Just read in LBN, the IRAQI COUNCIL(U. S. stooges) is asking the U. N. to come back in.

7. Pity, too, that Kwasniewski doesn't realise that it's *he* who's being
passive in not getting Poland's forces out while he can.
