Polish Prez Now Saying His Country Was "Misled" Over the War in Iraq

Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski says his country was misled about the alleged threat from Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.

However he also defended the decision to go to war in Iraq and said he had no plans to withdraw Polish soldiers.

Poland was a strong supporter of the US-led invasion and has the fourth-largest contingent of occupying troops.

The remarks came a week after the Madrid bombings and as public support for Poland's role in Iraq is declining.

Iraq without Saddam Hussein is a much better place than Iraq with Saddam Hussein

"Of course I feel a certain discomfort that we were misled about weapons of mass destruction," Mr Kwasniewski told journalists on Thursday.

3. This admin has eroded so much
support and goodwill for the US around the world and destroyed our credibility. It is truly amazing.

4. Remember after 9/11?
Massed flowers and candles at EVERY American embassy? Services of remembrance and good will in the streets of many nations?People all over the world saying, "Today I am an American..."

It will take at least one generation to get the good will back. IF we elect Democrats and they don't fall for the PNAC/PPI/America is right agenda.

I fear for the world.
