Has the situation improved in Iraq with the capture of Saddam?
Will the capture of Osama result in the dismantling of al quadia?
Will the capture of Osama result in more employment for U.S. workers?
Will the capture of Osama repair the public education system in the U.S.?
Will the capture of Osama solve the Israel Palestinian issue?
Will the capture of Osama result in lower gasoline prices?
Will the capture of Osama solve the North Korean nuclear weapons issue?
etc, etc, etc....
The answer to all of these is NO....and if the American people fall for that and vote for Bush on that basis...then quite frankly, they deserve four more years of him. Its just too bad that the rest of us critical thinkers will have to suffer along with them.

6. good point, but
i think the people really are that stupid. first of all they dont know that bush is responsible for 9-11. although tha may seem a little harsh (if you do not know the reason) he has been after Iraq to finish up what Sr. didnt do and its pretty obvious that that lead to the attacks, in my opinion at least. and not knowing that, the American public might fall for that.

8. and if the majority...
...are that stupid...there's not a whole lot to be done about it other than to try to convince them otherwise.

4. I've sorta suspected the same thing, but the president Can't be held
up for a couple minutes to answer questions about one of the largest disasters in American history. I doubt he'll be questioned about Saddam.

5. Because of course, the capture of Osama will dissuade Al Queda.
There's no chance that the capture of their leader will cause them to fight back even harder. </sarcasm>

14. Exactly! With Osama bagged, War on Terror is won, for all time!
Al Queda will be a distant memory, and the lion shall lie down with the lamb, and have one helluva meal. Ha!

9. They used the US Supreme Court to steal the last election, for God's sake.
OF COURSE they are going to try and steal another one!

But OBL is worth too much as a BogeyMan... Hard to keep people on Terror Alert, if we capture Bin.

Who would they replace him with? They need someone to scare people with, and keep us tilling in the dirt, like Good little serfs.

Some generic Other Terrorist won't get it...does'nt have the name recognition.

They believe keeping the tension up about impending capture helps the Bushwhacker's poll numbers. Also makes it look like they have a clue, and are actually doing something.

OBL captured? I'll believe it when I see it.

He is worth far more to them, overall, uncaptured.

That is why you keep hearing about various deputies of OBL...trial balloons, falling flat to earth...nobody can 'Terrify', like OBL.

13. You assume...
there's actually going to be an election! Are those in control really going to allow the people to vote?
