John McCain calls John Kerry "Strong" on Defense
After spending millions of dollars in a pathetic attempt to undermine John Kerry, The moronic Bush team was completely refuted by war hero John McCain. For the past 2 weeks Idiots like Bush and Cheney have been talking about how weak John Kerry is on national defense (as if Americans are dumb enough to believe that a man who fought and bled for our country, would be "weak" on Defense). Yesterday however, John McCain said that in his expert opinion Kerry was in no way weak on defense. Bush and Cheney seem to have a special talent for making false claims that are later shown to be lies, they have been doing it for almost 4 years now...this is of course in addition to thier greatest talent...COWARDICE,

1. Kudos to McCain. Let's hope his kick will keep Cheney out in the open
Unpleasant though it is, Cheney being out in the light of day is a good thing.

I think coverage of his appearances will turn more and more people off who haven't seen much of him before.

3. This again begs the question
What the hell is old man Cheney doing on the ticket? Are they dumb enough to think he can get the nomination in 2008? He's got zero charisma, and he's fast becoming a lightning rod for all the negative sides of the Bush Administration; which could be the point. Bush dumps him in favor of someone warm and cuddly (possibly Seseme Street's Burt), and it looks like he exorcised himself of all the demons of his adminsitration.

I'm flashing back to a This Modern World on how Cheney selected himself to be Vice President --> http://archive.salon.com/comics/tomo/2000/07/31/tomo/index.html

6. Not "Strong", Just "Not Weak"
Don't know if there is really a distinction, but McCain then went on to say Kerry needs to answer for his record in the Senate vis-a-vis the vote for $87 billion that the Bushies are now distorting.
