Are elite, rich folks more protected by the media?

(no, this is not an anti-Kerry post)

Several analyses I've read about why the media attacked Clinton and not * explain it this way. Clinton was a normal guy who worked his way to the top. He was like them if only they were more political, more ruthless, and what they don't like to admit, better. * instead had connections, given opportunities, admissions to great schools. His power was given to him so he is not a competitor to the media elites who for the most part earned their way.


So, look at Kerry. Will he be attacked less because of his background? I think maybe so.

Yes, I do know his actual background. He was a wannabe rich elite. Went to the schools but never had the wealth and background to fit in.

And again, he cannot use the Heinz wealth. His wife can only donate $2,000. Same as the rest of us if we could.
