Lieberman Quick to Attack R Clarke, but hasn't defended Kerry?
Yep, I noticed Holy Joe yesterday being a good repug operative by instantly poo-pooing the damning information that Richard Clarke has provided on bush's criminal activities pre- and post-9/11.

This begs the question: where has Lieberman been over the past month as the repig attack dogs have been loosed against Dem presidential candidate John Kerry? I did a Google search and couldn't find a SINGLE article documenting an incident of Lieberman coming forward and defending Kerry from the lies and character assassinations of the bushies.

Can anyone point to anything Holy Joe has said in defense of Kerry? I'd like to see it.

1. Lieberman never endorsed Kerry, either.
And it has been over 2 months since he left the race.

2. Lieberman's pissed he lost the Dem nomination
whereas Dean, who spoke out against the Iraq war vote, has been out on the media circuit defending Kerry's votes, and his honor. Dean's a much better Democrat than Lieberman is.

21. You're right!
During the primaries, so many said Dean was devisive.

And they said Clark was a Republican!

Well, right now, both of them are working their butts off for the Dems.

And where's Joe, who everyone said was such a "good Dem?"

Besed on the cool reception Lieberman got in the primaries
do we need to worry about him switching parties? I know he is liberal on many issues but is he dumn enough to pull a "because I trust the president on national security, I will now become a Republican?"

3. This should be a lesson for all the Dean-bashers
...who claimed Joe showed "Character."

After watching Dean last night on Maher, it's pretty clear who out there shows the real character....

Joe: doesn't support his party's nominee, bending over backwards to kiss Bush's ***, and still touting the Iraq war.

Dean: Backing Kerry 100%, even if he hasn't formally endorsed him yet, and is dedicating DFA to taking Bush down via Kerry.

Really, I think most posters here know that Dean is a real deal Democrat.

5. No, but they should...
...I'm sick of seeing panels made up of "Condi Rice from the right, and Joe Lieberman from the "left" - here to issue a bipartisan ass kissing of Bush and rebuke of his detractors"...

8. Lieberman is a sad, bitter old man who's usefulness (if he ever was
of any use to the democratic party) is nothing more than a Zell Miller
clone.

9. In Light Of
Wes Clark's endorsement of Kerry and his exemplary performances on national talk shows supporting Kerry and Democratic issues, I hope we've finally laid to rest all those claims that Wes was a "Republican in sheep's clothing". It's time to see the real RISCs in the Democratic party... people like Lieberman and Zell.

10. I wish Lieberman and Zell Miller would just go ahead and
change to the Repukes. All they do now is hurt our credibility and give good sound bites for the Repukes.

It doesn't surprise me he's defending Shrub.

That reminds me I need to call his office and speak my mind.

18. LIEberman would change parties but know he'd have no chance in Conn. then.
It's clear he wasnt Bush to "win"(sic) for the second time. Similiar to how he laid over during the 2000 disaster.

He sickens me, just when I wondered if I had been too hard on him he does this kind of crap. Disgusting.

19. When dropping out, Lieberman said he would support the Dem nominee...
Q. Is this how you support the Democratic nominee? Trying to undercut them, while at the same time we have Republicans John McCain and Chuck Hagel coming to Kerry's defense by saying that he would be strong on national security.

Support like his, Kerry can do without. Lieberman has some splainin' to do.

22. Face it, Lieberman was called Loserman for a reason
There should be a warning crawl with him whining two minutes before he comes on TV so that I can make sure I don't have to hear his diatribes. I've always wondered why the hell Gore picked in in the first place. What the hell was Gore thinking?
