2. Other
While I like Clark, I'm leaning toward Kerry/Cleland. Let's see those bastards try attacking Cleland's patriotism on a national scale.

3. Undecided
I really am not familiar enough with some of the people on your list. Also, while I would love to see it be Wes Clark, I am not experienced enough to know how strong that would be.

5. This week alone, Clark has proven he can step in and do the
job...He has been Kerry's spokesman while Kerry is off for a bit...
He knows the issues inside and out and these are the KEY issues of national security and the proper use of them military.

The campaign is on and he is already doing the job.....

6. I Voted for Mary!
She's already shown that she's one TOUGH lady and I'd love to see that debate with VP crashcart!

Needless to say, I'll vote for any of the above, but let Hillary take her turn in 2012!

13. I'd love Mary but I dunno if she'd deliver Louisiana...
She faced a TOUGH re-election here even after voting for 1st round of tax cuts and IWR. Republicans are pissed at her because they can't get a GOP senator in LA.

Hope it happens! :)

If it's Hillary or Bayh, I think I'll be looking back on morning sickness with longing up until the GE.

28. Edwards is only a better speaker when he talks
about court issues and the economy. Kerry doesn't need him because he can talk economic issues on his own. So what does Edwards bring to the ticket? Clark brings national security knowledge and we need that. So Clark should be the man! Frankly, I think he slready is!!!

11. Voted Kerry Edwards, BUT-- if international issues/security becomes THE
foremost issue (as it is at the moment), I am all in favor of adding Wes Clark to the ticket.

Locking up Arkansas means we'd only have to campaign in the Gore states and New Hampshire. Of course this can't happen so...

26. Well....
That's because he IS a winner. No matter when the question is asked or who is on this board...he will and does win. So it really has become a silly question. After this week...many of the diehards might even change their minds. I can't SEE how anyone could NOT want Clark and I don't have blinders on. However I do have this damn little heart on by sleeve that just won't go away.

KERRY VS BUSH
WINNER VS LOSER

Edited on Tue Mar-23-04 10:43 AM by Cuban_Liberal
Let's not get off into flights of fancy. Clark has more supporters here than any other candidate; that's why he wins every poll--- period. It's dangerous to start believing your own propoganda...

21. Kerry/Clark
The 2 big issues will be: 1. Nat'l Security/Terrorism/Iraq & 2. Jobs & the Economy.

Kerry can handle all domestic issues & I don't see anyone who adds to him in this regard.

Kerry, while well experienced in FP, lags behind Bush on Terror/Iraq/National Security. Wes Clark shores up this perceived weakness.

I think Bob Graham is the ONLY other person who adds to the ticket on Iraq/Nat'l Security/Terrorism.

IMO, Clark is stronger.

25. I think it's Richardson,
hands down. I know he's said over and over that he won't accept, but I still believe he's the strongest pick. If not Gov Richardson, I'd guess it has to be either Edwards/Gephardt/Clark.
