Mr. Nader: Please spend lots of time campaigning in Texas
If it keeps you out of Florida, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Iowa, etc. I will be happy to help you get on the ballot in Texas.

1. good idea
isn't Texas his first target to get on the ballot? Then let's help him, but make sure it takes awhile. We don't want him to get it too quickly and be able to focus on another state. Nader's ballot access must be stopped. I hope Democratic secretary of states examine every signature closely and if they find the slightest thing wrong, it gets thrown out. Anything that keeps Nader off the ballot is good.

2. I'd prefer he park himself in Alabama and stay there...
Or hell even the midwest would be fine. We need to make Dubya earn Texas' electoral votes. Of course there are far worse places that Nader could be campaigning *cough Ohio *cough.

6. More like North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Idaho...
States that vote Bush because they don't know any better and where Kerry won't bother with anyway. If Nader spends time bashing Bush in these states it might be helpful for the dems. Of course I'd rather see him stranded in Alabama where he can't possibly fuck anything up.

4. My itiniary for Nader.
He should seek ballot status and campaign in the following states:

California, Colorado, the Dakotas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, anywhere in the deep South, not Florida, New York...

In other words, not in "battleground" states, only in "safe" states. We can turn up left turnout in these cases and perhaps help senate and house candidates and state races. This should be a "united front" if at all possible. I sense that Nader is open to the idea provided that the most egregious free trade and warmongering policies are rejected.

5. Leave Colorado off
Bush beat the Nader + Gore total by only 3 points in 2000 and if we win the Senate race we have a great shot at winning the state. He should go to Utah, Idaho and Wyoming instead.

7. Leave California off...
With Governator guling over there, we actually have to make a few campaign stops now. Nader there means that we have to seriously consider the possibility that it could go red. California red = no democrat in the white house.
