I am so done with other people being "done." I am so goddamn done with people who have gotten so emotionally invested in their candidate that it's ignited such flaming hatred of the other to the point of causing amnesia of what another Republican president would mean. You know who you are. And you are children. You're the child who can't draw as well as the kid next to you in pre-school so you fall back on an urge to tear up the other kid's paper and punch him in the face. You are like Ralph Nader, who seems determined exact revenge for a failed presidential campaign by destroying his own life's work by enabling administrations that undo it and them some. Waaaa - you want to take your ball and go home. Grow the fuck up.
I am so goddamn tired of people on both sides jumping on the most inconsequential bullshit from the media as proof that "Obama hasn't accomplished anything" or "Clinton is an agent of the establishment." You are turning into what you should hate: People so programmed by political spin that they don't know what to think until it's told to them by some political blowhard on the radio or by some know-nothing asswipe from a blog. I can just hear the media pundits laughing at you after each show, after each political hit: Dance, monkeys, dance! Use your heads. Take a look at the big picture. If you're actually considering withholding your vote this year unless your preferred candidate is on the ballot, then you need a goddamn intervention. You need to turn off your television, take a hiatus from political websites, take a deep breath, and cool the fuck out.
The stakes are way too high.
