They also have asked all of there listeners to donate to Kerry. Every bit helps.

I think that's great, but Howard Stern's going to find himself in real legal trouble if he continues to ask listeners to contribute to a particular political campaign. Hope it works out, but it doesn't sound smart.

4. I don't know, I don't listen to talk radio |
|
Does Rush Limbaugh ask his listeners to contribute money to the Bush Campaign? If so that would also seem to present problems for both the FCC and the FEC.

7. Example #1: Rush Limbaugh. It's not illegal. |
|
And it is part of the reason that big media needs to be deconsolidated. Imagine if FOX News and NBC began openly asking people to donate to Bush. 24/7 advirtisements for the Republican Party. Without a fairness doctrine they can do it.
What if Clear Channel hired noone but Republicans who asked folks to donate to the Republican Party?

5. You COULDN'T put a price on what Howard and Robin are doing |
|
Getting the anti-Bush message out to the very people who need it most. I hope you're right about it being legal. On the other hand, Howard may be trying to get himself fired because he's got a satellite radio job lined up!

6. You're definetly wrong about that. Howard wants to stay on free radio |
|
He doesn't have a sattelite radio job lined up. He might just retire from radio if the senate passes that bill.
