What if Kerry Lost the Popular vote but won the electoral college?
How would you feel... especially those of us who argue that W is illigite bc he has half a mil fewer votes (of course, we all know that W lost the electoral college too).

Would be mighty ironic, wouldn't it?

THis election is liable to be just as close in 2000 and it most certainly could happen.

I don't care how he wins as long as Kerry is in the White House.

5. He'd be president of the United States.
But of course we'd have to listen to endless whining from the right.

6. It wasn't the electoral college that was the theft
It was the theft of Florida. If Bush* had really won Florida, he won fair and square. But the voter rolls were purged of people of color, and the votes were never counted.

9. Supreme Court decision 5-4 rules
for Bush. Justice Thomas writes the opinion "In the absence of a clear winner, we must give precedence to the incumbent, for fear of weakening our national defenses in war-time"

13. Thomas should be impeached...
In the absence of a clear winner, the House of Representatives is supposed to decide.
