Bush was better poised to win in 2000 than he is now. He was enjoying a pretty healthy lead over Gore at this point. He's struggling now just to break even.

8. I know MANY Repubs who will not vote for Bush in November.

At this point, they may not vote FOR Kerry, but many true fiscally-conservative Republicans have had all they can stand of Bush. I also know many Republican women who have had all of him they can stand. If we can figure out a way to sway a substantial number of these 2 groups to our camp, we could be looking at a blowout victory.

Bush has never really oversome 'buyer's remorse', even though 9-11 and the Iraq War gave him some temporary respite.:)
