Wolf Blitzer is Just an Emabarassing Joke (for CNN). I've had it...
He just said to Bill Richardson "Isn't Condi Rice's refusal to testify just because of 'concern over serparation of power'?"

Either this man is dumb as a box of rocks or he is on the Rove payroll. If he truly believes that line of b.s. he is unbelievably naive and does NOT deserve to even appear on a news program (other than faux news). Or, if he is THAT beholden to BushCo - he is downright dangerous.

Even the biggest Bush media lapdogs aren't THAT obvious.

It is an INSULT to the American public to have this guy as a CNN representative.

I'm sending off an e-mail to CNN if anyone else wants to - here's the addresses:

1. Well not so fast
Granted the comment was a little ignorant or should have been more appropriately phrased "some people have said...." Generally though he is not that bad and certainly better than other people like brit hume. Asking Richardson that question allows him to respond to a common allegation and perhaps better bolsters the argument that condi should testify.

4. comparing him to Brit Hume?
You think THAT helps you make your point?
That's like saying Charles Manson wasn't QUITE as bad as Jeffrey Dahmer because he didn't cut up his victims and eat them after killing them.

5. He just made several other "stupid" comments trying to degrade Clarke
I've had it. I'm now on a campaign to get rid of this man.

And Brit Hume is on Faux News - we expect that sort of crap from THAT network.

That's where Wolfie deserves to be - on FAUX News. He's a "pretend" news anchor.

22. He's just dumb
Bartcop is planning to run on their radio that question I asked Katherine Harris about disenfranchising voters after she got back from Iraq and Blitzer asked the dem congresswoman for her response, too. Well wake up Wolfie..the dem congresswoman wasn't secretary of state. the question went right over his head. I understood it going over Cruella's but heis supposed to be an anchor...besides our 11 year old is afraid of him.

2. He owes his entire career to the Bush family
The first Iraq Follies put Wolf on the map. He is a 100% Bush apologist to the last. He really is shameless in his whoring for massa.

7. Who can forget Blitzer reporting from Iraq with Scuds exploding?
I appreciated his stint in a war zone, at the time.

Now, however, his monotone, never-take-a-breath manner of speech is a big turnoff.

13. No... Blitzer covered Pentagon during Bush War 1
It was Bernie Shaw and Peter Arnett in Baghdad in 1991.

Shaw was there completely by accident. Shaw was there to interview Saddam "before" the war started. Shaw was not happy about being in Baghdad WHEN the war started.

Beware any journalist that has a prior history of a good working relationship with government censors.

Wolf is used to writing government-approved news.

10. sounds like a softball lobbed to allow
Richardson to say, emphatically "NO" and then to expand on what the "real" reasons are for why she won't testify.

How did Richardson answer?

Yeah. That makes about as much sense as Brit Hume saying he's fair and accurate.

17. He totally lied with Ben-Veniste
He said the CIA didn't attack those 3 times because they didn't have authority when anybody who had been paying the remotest attention knew they didn't because of the "actionable intelligence". What a rube.

Edited on Thu Mar-25-04 05:45 PM by floridaguy
deserves all your wrath and more. Perhaps when we impeach the liar he'll claim separation too! He and all his minions believe they are above the law. It's sad when we start accepting so-called journalists like Wolfie as "not that bad".

Why on Earth should the executive branch be allowed to be held unaccountable?

Ignorance is strength. War is peace.
