"I got such a kick out of seeing the president huff and puff and get all indignant about the testimony of Richard Clarke this week." Clarke, a former counterterrorism adviser to Presidents Bush and Clinton, testified yesterday before a panel investigating the 2001 attacks, asserting that the Bush administration did not view the problem of al Qaeda terrorism with the same urgency that the Clinton administration had.
Kerry walks with the book in his hand, implying he will speak later, sounds interesting.
I think these are good tactics.
Dean did an excellent job for Democrats on the Lehrer Newshour. He said that these charges that Bush did not listen before 9/11 are alarming and must be looked into. When asked if he were speaking for Kerry, he said I am speaking for myself.
She asked how he reconciled Kerry's vote, and he was quite good on that as well.
