My favorite part was when Clinton thanked Dean, but everyone had their moments.

I am just giddy thinking about all of our beloved Democrats being in a room together vowing to work hard for all of us.

It was a great night.

God I miss our last legally-elected President...I found myself almost overcome with emotion listening to him speak...reminded me of the good days....

BTW Senator Kerry, repeat Al Gore's mistakes at your peril..you need President Clinton out there, publicly campaigning for you day in and day out...He has more charisma and more command of current events then the entire * adminsitration put together...his zingers were BLISTERING!!!

He was absolutely BRILLIANT!!!

7. Oh, he named off the contributions of the candidates, one by one,

and then spoke glowingly about the presidents and vice president who were there. But he left out Dean, until we were all beginning to think that he wasn't going to remember him.

Then he said he had purposely left Dean out because (by now he had brought us into the bottomless pit of Bush's administration) as Bush took us into this awful place, one man had the nerve to say, "I don't like this." And he gave a few sentences about Dean's campaign and had everyone on their feet. It was great.

Clinton singled Dean out for special praise for his role in reviving the party. It was a nice moment.

Dean enthralls. Kerry never enthralls me like that. But I do believe that Kerry is a man of enormous character, and he has the ability to govern with fewer "distractions" than Clinton had. Actually, Kerry is not all that different from FDR. FDR didn't stir up the masses like some of his contemporaries did. He was patrician, as is Kerry. But FDR knew what Americans needed, and he had the character to go for that, so I will place my trust in Kerry that he will have the thoughtfulness and courage to take us where we need to go.

Still, part of me loves to be enthralled, can't help it. *sigh*

9. I thought Clinton gave a wonderful, inspiring speech....it was impressive

when he said how Bush, Cheney and the other top White House people and then he included himself, didn't go to Viet Nam, but, he said "Kerry said, send me." Can you ever imagine Bush ever saying anything even remotely like that?....It made me wish he was still your president....How much easier the world slept when he was guiding your country....Kerry was great too....He came across as caring and sincere....

My favorite part was getting to hear the Big Dog going at it. God, he was simply great, as usual. Kerry needs all the help he can get to defeat this bunch and I hope they will all be out campaigning.

I didn't see Wes once and I was devastated. How come?

I loved Ann Richards calling everyone to march on April 25. But because I really do love John Kerry, that clip was absolutely inspiring. I hope they turn it into a good 60 second commercial, like tomorrow. And Bill, well who doesn't love Bill!!!

It was so moving, and would make a great advert.

Big Dog’s speech was amazing.

I missed all the speeches before Carter sadly, so fill me in on what I missed. I'm sad to hear I missed Gore and Ann Richards since I love them both.

I love it when he talks about "how you felt" in 2000...That's the anger TPTB thought should not be part of 2004???? I still think Gore could have been a winner AGAIN in 2004.

I hope he travels around the country with that little theme, because it motivates a lot of people. Seeing him in person in 2002, I can tell you he's NOT boring when he speaks...and he wasn't boring tonight, either.

Don't hate me...but he was pretty darned boring. I like him when he speaks in a normal tone, before he breaks out into that long monotone in his phrasing....

But, gosh, it was pretty dry. I wasn't really motivated listening to that speech at all...

I'm so bugged that I missed Wes Clark....I thought the picture was taken after the even, but I guess it was at the beginning--rats!

was great and the Kerry video, too. But, what about that "Movie Guy" narrator's voice? At one point it almost seemed satyrical. A small distraction, overall I really liked it. It was very moving.

had me longing for him to be our President again. :cry: My word. The difference between him and the Idiot-In-Chief is astonishing. He was just amazing. His speech was passionate and eloquent and he described the repukes perfectly. He's right, too.....they WILL try to turn Kerry into a cartoon. He should know. He lived 8 years of their wrath. I NEVER tire of seeing him or listening to his speeches. He's The Big Dog!

It was so nice of him to single out and thank Dean for what he did in opening the "No War" debate. Dean deserved it. If it wasn't for him, I'm not so sure ANY of the Washington insiders would have had the guts to say what Dean said (except for Dennis). Thank You, Dr. Dean! Thank You Big Dog!

i love president clinton always and he will always be the best when it comes to speeches. the man is amazing, i loved him when i was just about 14 which is when he first came into office and i could just listen to him for hours and i still feel the same way. and of course i love john kerry. he doesn't give speeches as well as clinton does, but i like him as he is and don't want him to try to be something else and of course that video of him was amazing. it shows why many of us love kerry so much and supported him through it all.

Other than the Big Dog, who always gives an impressive speech and seeing Al Gore get riled, the whole thing was irritating.
I am tired of seeing my candidate dissed.
I am tired of no one listening to us Independents who WANT to vote Democrat to get rid of Bush, but who are never given a reason to.
Look, I'm with you guys on the fact that the economy is piss-poor.
I know it's very important, but the Dems had BETTER use Bush's poor judgments surrounding 9/11 as a way to take back the national security issue from the GOP or the Dems will never win!
People vote their pocketbooks and there will be a goodly number of Dems and Indies who will vote that way, but, given a choice between a job and being threatened by extremist groups, there are many who won't vote Dem because they believe "the GOP is better on defense."
Look, this country is still recovering from the worst civilian tragedy on our soil and we'd better recognize that.
