THE MEDIA LIES. They have been giving a leg-up to Obama since this thing started.

10. so. . . . MSM made up the springpatch rally of 15,000
(my sis sent me pix from her office window)
MSM made up the chicago rally I attended, with many thousands
MSM made up all the rally numbers?

amazing how your logic leaps from MSM covering up public anger and protest of a war, to claiming that they OVERESTIMATE the numbers of Obama supporters showing up. That's like jumping the grand canyon without the help of a kneivel bike.

22. I have seen throngs at Clinton rallys.
The media does not show them. The media touts Obama crowds and is silent on Clinton's, unless they are smaller, and then they blow up the story.

I do not understand how people cannot see the distortions and bias against Clinton in the media--and for obama.

18. So all the pictures pouring in every day from DU & DKos members Camera Phones & Digi Cameras
Are just imaginary photoshopped pictures. Live video footage before, during and after rallies on CNN Ballot Box, are just pretend and not really happening. Pictures in newspapers online and in print - across america, showing thousands, upon thousands waiting in lines hours before events - just a funny camera angle.

Sure... Whatever you're smoking, you might want to stop. It's clearly clouded your judgment and sanity.

20. Take off the tinfoil hat and back away from the keyboard
there's media manipulation and there's being an educated media consumer. If you can't tell when the MSM is telling the truth or not then its your problem. There's plenty o sources around to get a full picture if you put in the work.

23. There is bias against Clinton in the media. I have seen throngs of crowds at
her events. That story is not reported. Conversely, when she has a lower crowd than Obama--that story is front page.

If you honestly do not see the media bias against Clinton, we are going to be in a world of hurt--propaganda instead of free press does not a democracy make.

you expect?

The war is still on until she admits defeat and endorses Obama.

And that's how it should be. The same would be occuring if the reletive situations were reversed.

44. isn't a good thing to have people fired up about a democratic candidate?
He wasn't my first choice, but I got to hand it to him, he IS getting people enthused and in large numbers. Large numbers are going to be the only defense against diebolding in the general.

He's grown on me, in terms of campaigning and deflecting attacks effectively.

I would point out, if you seem upset, that about a year ago, some people were telling "looney left" people to shut up and get in line behind hillary. When the shoe is on the other foot, sometimes it seems uncomfortable.

36. Some pics...

Here's a shot of Barack and Rep. Patrick Kennedy addressing the overflow crowd...

http://trailblazers.beloblog.com/archives/2008/03/obama-is-in-providence-ri.html">Check out this report from the event...

How big? This big.

Obama is in Providence, RI. Now. Oh yeah, it's not just Texas and Ohio that vote on Tuesday. Vermont and Rhode Island, too. Obama left San Antonio this morning and appear in suburban Cleveland tonight.

Huge turnout in Providence, especially for a state the size of Dallas. The recreation center at Rhode Island College is filled with as many people as the fire marshals will allow - roughly 5,500. At least a thousand more are outside. Obama spent a few minutes with them, as he always does when there's an overflow.

Is that a big crowd? Consider that the entire state has 665,000 eligible voters (nearly all of the Democrats). Consider that when John Kerry won the RI primary in 2004, he only collected 25,000 votes, and Al Gore collected only 28,000 when he beat Bill Bradley in the RI primary four years earlier.

So, it's safe to say that, as elsewhere, Democrats here are pretty juiced.

Consider, too, that when Hillary Clinton was in this same venue six days ago, security officials estimated her crowd at 1,500, though other independent estimates were around 2,000.

AH Belo Corp. colleague Scott MacKay, veteran political reporter at the esteemed Providence Journal, says it's the state's biggest rally for a presidential candidate President Bill Clinton drew about 10,000 in downtown Providence, as an incumbent president, in 1996.

He knows how to hit back...where it hurts.

He's a testament to the "don't get mad, get even" adage. Every time he's been tarteted he strikes back twice as hard. Clinton mocks him so he goes to the same place and triples her crowd. That's gotta hurt.

McCain is toast. Just sayin'.
