So now the Obamists spin is that because we have two people fighting
Edited on Sat Mar-08-08 10:21 AM by Neshanic
for the same spot, THIS will make a stronger McCain.

Well it ain't necessarily so. There were MANY voices here that said that,(set your wayback machine Sherman), a LONG time ago that these two were not our best candidates. Then we have the resultant Beatles coming to JFK response with Obama, and the set ups of every minute detail of what big bad Hillary is doing to Obama daily on the MSM.

I am supporting Hillary because of the two, she is the fighter. That's it. That's all. Not on gay issues, which she obviously panders to, but does not throw the homophobe preacher on the stage to get the full pander.

Now it has seemingly dawned on the Obamists that this is not going so well. They see a person standing in the way of "their" dreams, be it generational, emotional, obbsessive compulsive, or any other dream they can muster up, with the goading of a petulant whiny Ms. Obama, and her husbands sickening dismissal of everything done before him as not important. Now the Obamists see the McCain train bearing down on them. Hide Ms. Obama. That's it. No, that's not it. Good idea in a general way, but not it.

Obama has no experience, and Naomi Watts pool cleaner knows that. He would be a great vice- president. Hillary as President, nice but even us Hillary supporters may very possibly not get our wish as the Obamaists. It's not our Democratic process with all the icky fight hard to win stuff, we have two candidates that in this opening for change for all, do not fit the bill. One kinda fits, not for change but to beat republicns senseless, the other just is too compliant, and is lying to get votes of a crowd that wants change so badly, they will take him, and he will not deliver. That's if he wins, which is almost a given impossibility.

Go ahead and regurgitate all the things that make your argument that Obama will defeat McCain. Same with Hillary. But do not blame us Hillary supporters, and for you Obamists, don't blame yourself. We have again installed two mules in a race at Santa Anita.

This is what we have endedup with. How this happened, maybe Gary Hart can muse on, sitting on a dock with his early bimbo eruption. It's not us wanting our candidates to win that is losing it for us, it's that we have two candidates that given this Grand Canyon opening to take the reigns of this country, that are just not the ones that should be running, is sad and pathetic.

4. Well, at least she didn't say "I'm not sitting here as some little woman
'standing by my man' like Tammy Wynette.

or

"I've done the best I can to lead my life ... You know, I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies and had teas, but what I decided to do was fulfill my profession, which I entered before my husband was in public life."

Clintonites have some pretty selective memories.

about. If you cannot seem to see any
of them.....relocate because you must
be miserable living here. No country

of being American citizens. Don't tell

America you are proud of. Step away from
the BFEE shit and its repurcussions and
look, you might see something.

I did not, I just said if

are things that we as a nation
should be ashamed of, there is
still plenty we can be proud of.
Just where did anyone tell you
to leave it, I just said open
your eyes. In America, we have
the freedom to worship how we please,
not what the ruling religious faction
tells us to worship. That is just
one reason, it is a biggie though,
it is the one our country was founded
on.

35. I don't understand why it's so hard to answer whether or not you are a feminist.
And it has nothing to do with why you support Hillary Clinton. I guess it must be difficult for you, because if you publicly affirmed being a feminist, then you wouldn't be able to make catty comments about other women like you did about Michelle Obama.

I'll at least give you credit for not being a hypocrite, unlike your many sisters here on DU who have no qualms about trashing other women while being stalwart defenders of Hillary's honor.

I just call it like I see it. Has nothing
to do with gender. Michelle has largely been
kept away from a mic since the 'not proud'
statement, I assure you that is because the
Obama campaign knows how damaging remarks taken
out of context can be and that she is somewhat
of a loose cannon.

2. Blame Hillary supporters? They are too damn dumb. I'll take it to the scorched earth campaign
politics of the Clintons. It is their very nature, they cannot and will not be any different than the last time they were in the office.

And don't worry about the superdelegates, they will vote for the coat-tails of Barack Obama. Not withstanding, the Clintons have never had and never will have coat tails, it is obvious that those who have not already praised the queen, are too late to gain favor and will be the first sacrificed and cut loose.

She doesn't. At this point a protracted fight does nothing but help the Republicans.

And it doesn't matter whether not it's true that McCain has more experience than Obama. Of course that's true. What's unacceptable is that Hillary chose to focus on this issue and chose to praise the Republican over her Democratic colleague.

That's just not OK.
