I Can't Believe Clinton Lost Wyoming!
How can she lose Wyoming, especially with its rural voters which she carried by a overwhelming margin in Ohio? Whatever happened to her momentum after Ohio? I'm beginning to be very concerned by the fact that her negative kitchen sink strategy was not enough to win Wyoming. She's won two caucus states before, Nevada and New Mexico, so why couldn't she win Wyoming? Is it only because the only caucus states she can win are the states with the letter "N" in their names? Please help me out, Obama supporters.

8. No Surprise
I completely expected Obama to win.

Why would he not. He's always done better in what you characterize as 'rural' states.

His position or lack of position on guns (which I disagree with) also went in his favor as did what his ability to win in caucus states.

i support Obama but winning Wyoming is not a surprise.

33. Oh Good Grief
Here we go again.

So what. Perhaps it is. Do you think Obama is using race as an excuse for not winning a state?

All these charges of sexism as an excuse for not winning reminds me of a campaign with a heavy lead weight around it's ankles as it drowns itself in it's own pity.

There is a unique difference between how sex and race have played in both campaigns and the only campaign using either as an excuse for losing is the Clinton campaign.

46. I was actually wondering the same thing,
slinkerwink, of the Dean Daze! :hi: One might think all that dlc crap would go over with conservative Dems which I thought were residing in Wyomin'!?

But Noooooooooo..

<snip>

Her husband, Dave Freudenthal, is a popular two-term Democratic governor in a state that is dominated by Republicans. He has not publicly endorsed either candidate and his wife was reluctant to state her preference (though their 21-year-old daughter Katie was holding an Obama sign).

The crowd, said Nancy Freudenthal, "is nothing I expected. At Democratic events in Wyoming, you tend to see the same worker bees over and over. Today I see tons of new faces. This has great potential to revive the Democratic Party."

At about 9:25 a.m., Karpan took the microphone to nominate her candidate, Clinton. She would be followed by Ken McCauley, a retired Air Force pilot, who would nominate Obama.
