11. ok..
Whatever... this will be the second time I didn't meet the proper club rules of this place. I have noit broken any rules... and yet, shats are more than fine?

Let me make this really clear.... I am a lifelong dem. I have tried on more than one occasion to try to fit in this place...

it seams to me that DU is much more comfortable with there own happy place that welcoming new people. And for the record I don't need welcome, what would be really great is if people stopped treating every new member as tho they were the enemy.

...

Jeez. Eliot gets caught, and instead of dealing with the real issue... you want a new member to leave.

I am not even a new member. I just happened to be a new poster.

=====================================

That being said, as a former --a recent former --- NY'r... Eliot is done. HE cannot stay in office. The dems in Albany are 1 (one) seat away from FINALLY getting a majority in the legislature. We are ONE seat away from taking away the Bruno Majority. If he says, that will not happen. you get Bruno on charge...AGAIN.
Sheldon Silver might not be a HUGE leap forward to many (understanding the trifecta of NYS politics) ... but steps are steps, and spitzer NEEDS to do what is best for the state and the political party that he represents.

I do not want for us to be accused of hypocrisy.

besides, Paterson is a pretty good guy.

12. Remember...
one guy saying "remove" is not the same as DUers as a group thinking your comments were off the ranch. The "proper club rules of this place" are posted by the club owners. The rest of the mooks in here, me included, do not have more weight than you just cause we've been posting longer.

Ignore the monkeys.

15. And I'm sorry if I confused a newbie
but my remarks had nothing to do with Spitzer or Paterson (who also strikes me as a good guy). They're references to long-running senseless threads on DU called "I'm bullish about Kudzu...it's going places" and "Please Remove." I was hinting that this thread could turn into another one of those.

16. well then my apologies...
I don't get all those inside thangs.

I still think that Spitzer needs to walk away. I may be able to get more info on tuesday, but seriously, for the good of the PARTY, this is important. Prostitustion is not legal. One day, maybe... but for now, no.

I REALLY TRULY wish that our FEDS would spend more time on all that crap they say they need to spy on use about, you know like TERRORISM.

17. I'm right with you on that.
We've also got a problem here in NJ, one of Gonzalez's teachers' pets named Chris Christie. Spent most of the past few years going after any hint of a problem with a Democrat. How many millions wasted on witch hunts?

If Spitzer is dirty, we're better off without him, but it could hint at how easy it is to abuse Bush's police powers for political gains.

10. He's pro-life, pro-union, anti-corruption. The only way the GOP could accept Spitzer....
... is if they took a wide stance.
