A few months ago, I felt great about the field of presidential candidates. For the first time in many elections, I felt there were several excellent potential presidents: Hillary, Obama, Edwards and Richardson. For the first time, I felt like a "sixties" democrat. Now, Geraldine has raised the ghost of the inflexible old school democratic ward boss. "Don't think, just vote like we tell ya."

She was expounding her "liberal" bias with Sean Hannity last night. "Look at me, look at me, I'm on TV again." Elections bring out the best and the worst.

So my Democratic friends, Let's unite to bring out the best in our chosen candidate. Remember Karl Rove is waiting in the wings with his group of "merry pranksters". Our job is to kick ass and get a democrat elected. Black, white, female , male, may the best candidate win and win strong!
