Wright is a "teachable moment"
I'm surprised that there is so much surprise that (gasp!) there is anger in the black community.

Instead of focusing on Wright's anger, why not focus on why Wright is angry?

We have big, big, problems in this country. Maybe it's a good thing that this campaign has come along and ripped the scab off of American complacency over racial issues. How can anyone be complacent when the percentage of black men in prison is so astronomical?

If EVER there was a man for the moment, I believe it is Barack Obama.

1. blaming the US for 911 is not going to get people to think about why Wright might be angry. nt

6. It isn't an issue?
If it were October, McCain v. Obama, it would be an issue.

11. No, McCain is on record of supporting Obama here....the issue is with Hillary, not McCain
Edited on Fri Mar-14-08 07:08 AM by earthlover
Hillary is campaigning like a Republican Swift Boater....

McCain would be unlikely to attack in Octover having supported Obama on the issue. But don't let that stop you from trying to use what the Reps are going to do with the story to act as "cover" for what Hillary is doing....
