There are two seperate polls and both show McLame up by 6.

The detoriation of our party is beginning to show in the polls. It is very sad to see. We just spent 2 weeks campaigning in that state, we had a big-time media blitz in Ohio over the last month... and we are still losing that state. If that doesn't tell everybody that we need to end this process quick, I don't know what to tell you.

Just a reminder about Ohio: it is absolutely hurting from the economic policies enacted by President Bush and its Republican state legislature over the last 8 years. The fact that they still want to vote in a Republican tells you all you need to know about how badly the Democratic party has hurt itself over the last week or so.

Obama can't just ignore both of those states. And I didn't even mention the latest poll that shows McLame up by a few points in PA and MI.

There is no path that will lead any Democrat to the White House if we don't end this process soon. Whether it be Hillary or Obama's path to the White House.

as for Florida he followed DNC rules and still is. I think Ohio will be very competitive this fall for our candidates. BTW, California went to Hillary in the primary by about the same margin as Ohio and a new Ras poll out today has Obama leading McCain there by 15 points, while Hillary is ahead by only 7. Ohio is a swing state. In the primaries who has won more swing states? Obama. He won Colorado, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Virginia, and leads in those states while Hillary is losing. Even in Nevada Obama is leading in a state where Hillary won the caucus and Hillary is losing to MCCAIN. The blue states will go blue it's who wins the swing states.

It is starting to get on my nerves so I can only imagine what people who are only getting bits and pieces on tv are thinking. I am sure it is the last thing on their things to worry about, spats about pastors, etc. It only fuels the talking heads. I'd rather our candidates were making news talking about their economic plans. That might get some votes.

Our candidates do talk about their economic plans, but the pundits would rather talk about the tabloid stuff. I don't know that they will even need to do much talking anyway... those that think bush & the GOP aren't to blame for the current economic mess will either sit on their hands or vote GOP... and those that think they are will vote for the other candidate. That's how I see it playing out, anyway.

I thought a state like Ohio (or Florida) would show more seperation between Hillary and Obama. It doesn't. The only state that shows that type of seperation is Arkansas.

Seriously, this is bad news but fairly predictable for the circumstances. The dems dirty laundry has been paraded all over the media for weeks now, while the repugs are relaxing on a beach somewhere drinking martinis.

I wouldn't put too much weight on a poll for a contest that hasn't really begun yet.
