Obama; Makes me want to be a better person
THAT IS WHY HE IS SUCH A POWERFUL LEADER, his effect on people is to make so many just want to achieve a better level of being. He is speaking to our dreams and souls, not to our fears.

That is it. He makes you want to be a better person, and he makes you believe that you can be.

22. Absolutely and.....
both are important. The second aspect, making you believe that you can be, inpires people to action, to get involved, and to take a stand for this country. That's what's most immportant in his message, I really believe.

16. He has a first rate mind and education, but it was his moral leadership that blew me away today.
Today it seemed to me that he really does care more about hope and change than he does about winning. He got up and spoke truth, it wasn't just some exercise in risk avoidance that seem to characterize most campaigns.

23. And He Speaks To America's, and the World Community's Better Angles
Edited on Tue Mar-18-08 08:23 PM by mikekohr
Rarely in history does a man come along at just the right moment in time to make a REAL difference. Bobby Kennedy was such a person at a critical crossroad in history. History would have been very different had RFK had the chance to fulfill his destiny. Here's hoping Barack gets that opportunity denied Senator Kennedy in 1968.

24. It's one way to lead.
I've denigrated his lack of accomplishment in the Senate, but this was a sort of leadership we don't often see. Beautiful.
