This primary has brought out the WORST in some candidates and DUers

I'm learning stuff about some candidates I never would have imagined them doing. On top of that I'm learning that there are definitely some Dr. Jekyl/Mr.Hyde people here on DU. I've been reading and learning here at DU since '04 and found myself looking forward to the posts of many of the regulars here. I held their work here in high respect and am floored when I see those same people talking crap about other DUers (regulars and newbies), calling them names, belittling them, basically acting like they've lost their minds. Does anyone else feel disturbed when they see this? We worked so good as a team, now it's every (wo)man for himself.

It's like we're in the Polar Bear exhibit at the Washington Zoo and mama is picking us off one by one for snacks. Don't taste me Po!!

4. I never had to use the 'ignore' feature until these last 2 wks.

My list now includes some long time posters here whose opinions I used to value.
I wonder if I'll ever take them off ignore. I'd like to think that once this silly season is over they'll come to their senses. :shrug:

Someone who's the defensive type might think you're talking about their candidate, and have issues, and go off. Or someone might assume you're talking about the other candidate and say something nasty.

Next thing you know, your innocuous little post has started a flame war. It's really neat how that happens.
