WASHINGTON — Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, once so eager to debate she ran two ads questioning why her rival wouldn't, has yet to say whether she'll debate Sen. Barack Obama in North Carolina next month.

Both presidential candidates plan to participate in an ABC News debate on April 16 in Philadelphia. Pennsylvania holds it primary days later, on April 22. Obama also has agreed to a debate April 19 hosted by CBS in North Carolina. North Carolina holds its primary May 6.

will likely be her excuse. Or maybe she could spin it as gaining more Foreign Policy experience. So much for Hillary wanting to debate anywhere anytime.

16. A search in google....
Ok. I'll concede that I wasn't sure. Lots of right-wing links out there. Newsbusters and Faux News, for example. I won't post them, since they're a virtual waste of my time.

I'll give that one to you, maddiejoan.

18. Ok. I'll take your word for it.
I don't watch the press anyway. I heard a rumor on Couric, and couldn't find evidence suggesting that, except for right-wing links.

21. Well it isn't like the ducking she did fleeing sniper gunfire in Bosnia
but she is not committing when she previously ran campaign ads on wanting to debate anytime anywhere

11. Maybe because she knows she'll be called on not releasing PAST tax returns.
I think now she's only planning on releasing this year's.

24. And Obama only released one year.
The clintons have released 20 years of their past tax returns. She's got a fine answer to the question, and she has no fear of it.

27. Ha! Clinton has released nothing since 2000. Obama has in fact released far more than one year
A number of them before 2006 were to newspapers and such.

Clinton has not be examined on this for quite a while now.

and that wouldn't keep her from a debate.

Sorry, but she got schooled repeatedly, and she obviously doesn't want to repeat the experience again.
